Storage of Suburbia 2nd Edition

March 15, 2021

We have completely redesigned Suburbia & Suburbia Expansions from the inside out! All new artwork, GameTrayz™ organizers, and one of the best features of all: you can now fully combine both Suburbia 2nd Edition & Suburbia Expansions all into one box!! On this page we will show you the suggested way to put away your copy of Suburbia 2nd Edition & Suburbia Expansions.  Thank you for your support and purchase of Suburbia 2nd Edition & Suburbia Expansions, happy gaming!

Suburbia 2nd Edition + Suburbia Expansions

The blue GameTrayz is the home for Suburbia 2nd Edition. We suggest keeping all of your “A” tiles in the left most column, followed by “B” tiles, & “C” tiles. These tiles can be facedown for easy access to shuffle and put onto your tabletop. Keep the “One More Round” face up so you don’t shuffle it in and can’t find it! In the 4th column will be your Heavy Factory, Community Park, & Suburbs tiles. Lastly, the 20 Goal tiles can be split into two groups of ten for each section. If you do not have Suburbia Expansions, please place your punched out boards & foam underneath the blue GameTrayz. This will prevent jostling and tiles moving from their spot.

If you have purchased Suburbia Expansions as well, the 5th player Blue tokens will fit in this base tray as well as the additional coins.

Suburbia Expansions

We suggest placing all Suburbia Expansion tiles faceup in its seafoam green GameTrayz to easily pick and choose which expansion you’d like to play with Suburbia. In the first column, place 13 Nightlife tiles in the first spot, 13 in the middle, 6 in the final spot. As there is room, we have placed 7 Inc. tiles on top of the final spot of Nightlife. The 2nd column is as follows: (1st spot) 13 5 Star tiles,  (2nd spot) 13 Inc. tiles, & (3rd spot) 5 Inc. tiles. The 3rd column is as follows of the remaining 5 Star tiles: (1st spot) 13 tiles, (2nd spot) 13 tiles, 12 tiles. The 4th column contains 2 Heavy Factory tiles, 2 Community Park tiles & 2 Suburb tiles. There are two spots in the final column, one for 5 Star Bonus tiles, and the other for Inc. Bonus tiles.

The top portion of GameTrayz contains: 5 turn order tiles (stars), as well as the Star Track, 18 Border tiles, 5 Suburbia Con tiles, & 6 Suburbia Essen tiles. The 5th player tokens, borough board, player aid, investment markers, 5 star tokens, and extra coins all fit into the blue GameTrayz.

Underneath the Border tiles are three slots for the Con tiles. We suggest the following, 1st slot:  4 tiles, 2nd slot: 3 tiles and the 3rd slot: 4 tiles.
