Famed film director Alfred Hitchcock once said:
Fear isn’t so difficult to understand. After all, weren’t we all frightened as children? Nothing has changed since Little Red Riding Hood faced the Big Bad Wolf.
Fear isn’t necessarily something ghastly or grotesque. Fear can often be playful and subtle. After all, it isn’t when the werewolf bites you. It’s the anticipation of the bite that keeps your eyes up at night and haunts your dreams when you close them.
Bézier Games is going back to its roots and celebrating fear in 2025.
Each of our titles released this year, will have anywhere from a dash to a knob of fear, which is a rather healthy dose. Surely, any doctor worth their salt would agree.
Do not trust those who may cite the words of their overprotective parents: Life is hard enough; why would we possibly invite or welcome fear into our home let alone our table?
The only way to conquer your fears is with confidence—be it with stoic determination, a giggle, or a barbaric yawp. Bézier Games offers a safe and playful space to explore and face your fears. We just sometimes add a dash of werewolves and a pinch of laughter into the mix.
In the first quarter of 2025, we’ll not only be releasing Silver Eye and Silver Fang at retail but we’ll also be releasing digital versions of both games as well. Our new Silver mobile game is currently available on both Google Play and the Apple App Store. Join the thousands on an online werewolf hunt!
The first expansion to Rebel Princess Deluxe Edition will be releasing later this year and will not only add two more princesses, several new round cards, and a new scorepad but will also fit in the base game box—with more than enough room for our two promo princesses.
In addition to an expansion, Rebel Princess Deluxe Edition will also get a sequel! And we mean this in the strictest sense. This will not be a standalone expansion, but a unique standalone game that is a continuation of the story. The princesses may have successfully rejected the princes and avoided marriage, but a larger threat lurks in the dark corners of the forest. An unspeakable evil will be unleashed that the princesses nor the villagers are fully prepared for.
We’ll also venture deeper into the woods and revisit the critters and campers from our card game Scram! The campers may have won their battle against the critters infesting their campsite, but will they be prepared for the horrors that await them at night? The sequel to Scram! will explore the darkness lurking within and above the treetops as well as several game mechanics tying into the theme.
Perhaps our biggest reveal will be towards the end of the year. We’d love to share more, but who doesn’t love a good jump scare towards the end of a horror film? You’ll just have to sit silently in antici…
You've played well over 100 trick-taking games by now. If you were Jumanji’d into any trick taking game you’ve played, which one would it be and why?
Oh!! Great question! I’d probably say...
